Hi everyone~ I’m Leo who loves traveling and pets!
The financial knowledge I’m sharing with you today is very important, but very, very necessary for dog parents to know! Only when we know what they really need, we can feed them better, so we recommend you to forward the content of this issue.
1,Protein
About 20% of a dog’s body is made up of protein, and an insufficient supply of protein can lead to a weak immune system, skin infections, and young dogs are prone to diarrhea and parasites.
Protein-rich foods: chicken, beef, duck, rabbit, fish, animal heart, tofu and eggs, dairy products.
2. Fats
Energy is twice as much as carbohydrates and proteins, etc. If there is not enough fat, the skin will easily dry out and suffer from skin diseases. In addition, it may also lead to a decline in immunity and cause heart disease, diabetes and other diseases, but be careful not to consume too much fat in your dog.
Fat-rich foods; peanut oil, soybean oil, olive oil, canola oil, flaxseed oil, wheat germ oil.
3. Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates are a source of energy for the brain and muscles. Dogs do not need carbohydrates, but consuming too many will upset the nutritional balance and increase the burden on the pancreas.
Sweet potatoes are rich in carbohydrates; grains, potatoes, sweet potatoes, purple potatoes, yams, sugar, oatmeal, millet, etc.
Vitamins
It is important to give your dog the right amount of water-soluble vitamins every day. On the contrary, it is not necessary to give your dog a daily intake of fat-soluble vitamins, which are excreted through the intestines and can cause diarrhea.
The 14 essential vitamins for dogs include; Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin B, and Vitamin H. With the exception of Folic Acid, all of the other vitamins can be synthesized in the body.
Minerals
Nutrients that cannot be formed in the body and are essential for life. Minerals are found in water or soil. They should be taken in moderation, but if they are taken in excess, they can cause disease.
Dogs need to consume minerals; calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron, sodium, magnesium, zinc, and other minerals.
Water
We are truly in the highest heat of the summer, we should all have our own ways of cooling down, drinking water is the best way to cool down, water is a major part of the organism and dogs can have up to 60% water in their bodies. Dogs can go a week without eating, but not if they don’t drink water for a week.
Automatic water fountains are good for your cat’s health, but only if the owner follows a strict program of cleaning, care and maintenance. Although there is a filter inside the water dispenser to clean the water, there will still be impurities and limescale deposits on the inner wall and parts of the dispenser. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly clean the inside of the machine and the filter cartridge every few days to ensure that the water is clean.
